Login Module Code for Java Biometric Student Track System

Biometric Login Module

This Login module source code is developed wholly in JavaFX 8 and Java on Netbeans 8.0 using Java SDK 8

It allows the Administrator of the Biometric Student Track System to login by entering their username and password. The usernameand the password are archived in Biometric Student Track System’s MySQL database. The password is hashed out before it is saved into the MySQL database.

Once the Administrator of the Biometric Class Attendance System logs in, they can perform the following administrative tasks which include;

Registering fingerprints of students in Biometric Student Track
Supervise Identification of Students in Biometric Student Track
Type Text to in SMS box to be sent to parents / guardians
Select Mobile network (e.g. Safaricom or Airtel Network) from the Mobile Broadband Modem e.g. (Huawei CEO682 Mobile Broadband Modem) depending on the ones configured for use in the system.

Check Out Students from school and notify Parent / Guardian of their children’s departure from school via SMS as soon as students have been biometrically identified and Checked Out from School’s Biometric Student Track System.
Provisions a Parent / Guardian SMS Text Box. This is where the School’s administration can type the content of the text they intend the school’s administration to send to parents / guardians as students leave school for home or the text parents / guardians receive from school’s administration notifying them of their children’s arrival at school.
SMS Mobile Network Selection Box. This is where the Administrator of the Biometric Student Track System chooses which Mobile Network to use to send SMS to Parents / Guardians of students e.g. Select Airtel or Safaricom Network in preference of either.
Time Clock in AM/ PM. This clock is shown on Biometric Student Check In /Out Desk to enable Administrator and Student to know the time the student is Clocking IN or Clocking OUT of School.

Several mobile network gateways can be configured in this code in relation to the Internet Service Providers or Mobile Data Networkproviders of your respective Country. In our case here in Kenya, the prevalent Mobile Data Network providers are Safaricom and Airtel. The user clicks on the SMS Mobile Network Selection box and Selects an option e.g. Safaricom or Airtel as is the case for us in Kenya.
